In the event of a facial trauma injury, it is important that you receive prompt treatment. If your injury is severe or occurs after normal business hours, please seek treatment at the nearest emergency room. You will be treated by the oral surgeon on call.

If your tooth has been knocked out, it is important to act quickly. Please bring the tooth to our office in a container of saliva or whole milk. The greatest chance to save a natural tooth is within the first 30 minutes of injury. Your oral surgeon will discuss your options for tooth replacement, such as a dental implant, if your tooth cannot be saved.

It is important to seek the right medical care in the event of a facial trauma injury. Please contact us as soon as possible to receive prompt treatment. If your injury has been sustained after-hours and/or is extensive or severe, please go to the nearest emergency room to be treated by the oral surgeon on call.
